HIV/AIDS Global Epidemic Tutorial
This new narrated slideshow tutorial on kaiserEDU.org provides an overview of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the U.S. and highlights its impact on women, minorities and youth. The tutorial also features a review of public and private financing for HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention.

The ONE Campaign  seeks to give Americans a voice, to ring church bells and cell phones, on campuses and in coffee shops, for an historic pact to fight the global AIDS emergency and end extreme poverty. We believe that allocating an additional ONE percent of the U.S. budget toward providing basic needs like health, education, clean water and food, would transform the futures and hopes of an entire generation of the poorest countries.

LoveLife – South Africa’s National HIV prevention program for young people. LoveLife has brought together a broadbased coalition of international foundations working in HIV/AIDS prevention, major South African media organizations and private corporations, the government of South Africa, and leading South African non-government organizations with one shared goal – to turn back the epidemic of HIV/AIDS, and related epidemics of teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, among South Africa’s young people.


WHO (World Health Organization) HIV/AIDS Programme
WHO and its HIV/AIDS department work within the family of UNAIDS Cosponsors to facilitate multisectoral efforts to respond to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. WHO specifically serves as the convening agency within the United Nations system for HIV/AIDS treatment, care and support as well as for preventing the mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
