The best thing about this site is that it contains an extensive collection of original material, including a complete textbook with extensive references and related links organized by topic. Unlike many commercially-oriented sites, HIV InSite‘s policy is to link to the best information on the web, and this site contains literally thousands of great links. Information on this site ranges from basic to complex.
The Body
The Body presents a wide range of HIV/AIDS information, spanning both treatment and prevention. This is an especially useful site for people living with HIV/AIDS, as it deals extensively with specific medications, side effects, and even features an online pharmacy. The site is also available in Spanish.
CDC National Prevention Information Network (NPIN)
Sponsored by the CDC, this useful site offers the lates HIV-related news and research results. It also contains government guidelines for HIV testing and counseling, as well as information about other sexually transmitted infections, legal issues, and funding.
American Medical Association
This is a good source for global news about HIV, with links to several CDC sponsored sites. It also features a good collection of research results and HIV-related conferences.
