PRIDE Counseling

Healt Access Project
Established in 2001, the Health Access Project (HAP) is a community partnership that works to develop a more effective system for providing health care to uninsured residents of Salt Lake County. To achieve this goal, the Health Access Project partners with local physicians, hospitals, community clinics, private businesses and the state and local health department.
People With AIDS Coalition of Utah (PWACU)
PWACU is dedicated to providing educational and support services that enhance the quality of life for all people impacted by HIV/AIDS. PWACU often offers limited tickets to concerts, plays, and other events to people living with HIV/AIDS, hosts social groups and events for HIV positive men and women, and hosts the annual Living With AIDS Conference.
Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood is a good resource for HIV and other STD testing. Clear, complete information about sexuality is essential to making good life decisions, and Planned Parenthood’s sexuality education programs and libraries are resources for everyone in the community.

Lambda Hiking Club
Get involved with Utah’s gay hiking club. They do everything from hiking, to snoeshowing, to social activities, to camping.
Salt Lake Community Action Program (CAP)
CAP is a great resource for people living with HIV/AIDS in Utah. They can often help with housing issues, finding second hand furniture, and a variety of other needs.
Catholic Community Services (CCS)
CCS has an HIV specific housing program, and can sometimes help UAF clients with food and other needs.
QUAC: Queer Utah Aquatic Club
Get involved with QUAC, the best queer swimming club around! You can swim yourself, or simply cheer them on when they compete. This website has great profiles of all the QUAC participants.

Art Positive
