Fees and Policies
The goal of the Utah AIDS Foundation test site is to make HIV testing available to anyone who wants to be tested, regardless of their ability to pay. The Utah AIDS Foundation test site offers HIV testing for free, or at a reduced cost, but a donation would gladly be accepted at the time of your visit.

HIV Antibody Testing
Utah AIDS Foundation currently offers the OraQuick ADVANCE® Rapid HIV test.  This is a painless oral swab and the results are ready in 20 minutes.  We also offer OraSure®, which is also an oral swab. The results are available in two weeks.

Other Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing Offered
Chlamydia (FREE) - Urine
Gonorrhea (FREE) - Urine
Syphilis ($5) - Blood Draw (Mondays only)
Hepatitis C ($25) - Blood Draw (Mondays only)

Results for these tests are available 7-14 days and can be given over the phone or in person.ALL personal information you give us, as well as your testresults, will remain completely confidential!

Should you get an HIV test?
If you check one or more of the below risk factors, you should be tested for HIV.
I have had unprotected anal, vaginal, or oral sex with someone who has had other partners.
I have shared needles to inject drugs or had sex with someone who has.
I have shared needles for other reasons or had sex with someone who has.
