The Utah AIDS Foundation test site is located at
1408 South 1100 East in Salt Lake City, Utah. 


 

 


The goal of the Utah AIDS Foundation test site is to make HIV testing available to anyone who wants to be tested, regardless of their ability to pay.

HIV Antibody Testing
Utah AIDS Foundation currently offers the OraQuick ADVANCE® Rapid HIV test and the Clearview Rapid HIV test.  
OraQuick ADVANCE® is a painless oral swab and the results are ready in while you wait. Clearview requires a finger-stick whole blood sample and results are also ready during your same visit.  We also offer OraSure®, which is also an oral swab, and venipuncture whole blood testing. These samples are sent to a lab and the results are available in two weeks. All results for HIV must be given in person to protect your confidentiality. 

Clearview Rapid HIV testing is $10.00 (FREE the 1st Monday of each month for everyone, always FREE for gay/bi men 22 y.o. and younger)
OraQuick ADVANCE® HIV testing  is $15.00.

 

Other Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing Offered
Genital Chlamydia/Gonorrhea (FREE) - Urine
Rectal Chlamydia/Gonorrhea ($15) - Self-Collected Rectal Swab
Syphilis ($5) - Blood Draw
Hepatitis C ($25) - Blood Draw

Results for these tests are available 7-14 days and can be given over the phone or in person.

Should you get an HIV test?
If you check one or more of the below risk factors, you should be tested for HIV.I have had unprotected anal, vaginal, or oral sex with someone who has had other partners.I have shared needles to inject drugs or had sex with someone who has.I have shared needles for other reasons or had sex with someone who has.
